The room is good size and air conditioned. There are laundry machines and a swimming pool. They provide shampoo, toothpaste and soap.
the hotel is in a bad neighboorhood.
Our stay was pleasant and for the price a very good value!
In my case it was more for seeing New Orleans with my daughter than the look or feel of a particular hotel. I think that as long as it's clean and that it's in a save location was my main concern and of course a great value!
I liked the pool area, whereas it was rainning and we didn't enjoy it very much.
It was cheap!!! But we did not stay for the full reservation. Read the complaint section as to why we did not stay any longer!!! All I can say is that the pictures on your website do not look like anything shown on the website!!! I would say this is false advertising!
I am very disappointed in the conditions of this hotel. Unfortunately after checking in and going into our room, we discovered that this was the most disgusting hotel room we had ever stayed in. We ended up booking a room at a different hotel because we felt the conditions of this hotel were unhealthy, because I have lung issues and this was not acceptable. The sink was held up by 2x4's and the floor underneath the sink was wet. There was a huge gap between the counter top and sink. Never again!
Needed a lot of referbeshing
Good location in midtown new orleans. Price were fair.
Rooms not too clean. Electric system not updatet.
Nothing absolutley horrible! Worst hotel I have ever stayed in
The roaches! It was very dirty! No toilet paper, no clean towels room service never once offered to make the beds or clean the room! Paint stuck in the bottom of the tub. Roachesssssssss!
The facility was very run down. The picture on the web site is very misleading. No wifi on the floor where I was staying. Had to go to 1st floor to access wifi. Soda machine on my floor did not work. The floor in the bathroom area was unstable under the carpet - thought I might fall through floor - not kidding! (Room 416). I consider myself as a positive and open minded person and writing something negative is not something I like to do. However, I need to be honest Thank you for allowing this evaluation. .
Location Price Friendly staff Swimming Pool
Some ligths in the rooms 409 and 414 (we had to change) and the heating and the frigidaire in Nr. 414 did not work. In 409 in our last night there must have been a mouse (eating from one of our apples). In 414 the jalousette of the window was first lying on the bed. We had to stay in the Motel two days longer than we thougt, because our flight to Newark was cancelled because of Sandy. On the last day we had to stay there until 1pM. Nobody has said us, that we had to pay for these two hours the whole rate for one night. Otherwise we could have waited in the hall of the Hotel.
Nothing it was an absolute dump. Bugs in the room. We complained they offered to switch rooms which also had bugs. We ended up going to another hotel. Would not recommend to a single person ever
Dirty, run down area of town, no towels
It smelled when you walked into the lobby, it was located in ghetto, very afraid to walk with my daughter from the parking in back to the front where the lobby was. Our room smelled terrible, paint on walls not good, we slept on top of our blanket and pillows on top of the bed. When we left the hotel, our hair and clothes smelled like te smell in the room. Ths was the worst experience we have ever had. We cancelled our second day reservations to find a better hotel. We did not feel safe, and our room smelled like there were drugs previously in our room. It was awful.
The room I stayed at had no towels, I went to the front desk and asked for towels for the room and the front desk told me they had no towels. He then told me he would find some and bring them up. I left the hotel in the morning with no towels brought to me. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I would not stay there agin.
The place was disgusting. we got a room that was so stinky, I think the previous guest puked there. the carpet was sticky, the bathtub was clogged. we asked to change a room and got a room with a broken tub as well so we stayed in the first room, which was a mistake. we couldnt sleep bcs the fridge was too noisy. plus its located near a nightclub and the walls were practically vibrating with the bass sound. stay away from that place...
2 miles from French Quarter, reasonably priced. Complimentary parking behind the hotel. Our stay was much better than we had anticipated after reading other reviews!
Tub did not drain properly. No vending machines on 2nd-4th floor
